If there is an experience that deserves to be lived on the east coast, it is the excursion from Santa Maria Navarrese to Cala Gonone.

This is a spectacular tour that can reveal absolutely incredible scenery thanks to the priceless heritage for its biodiversity, 40 kilometers of ramparts and limestone cliffs, impressive sheer cliffs, steep slopes covered with thick vegetation, hidden and mysterious ravines where twisted junipers are present , cisto and lentisco.

The combination of the beautiful sea and the charming environment, which overlooks the crystal clear waters, will surprise you at every passage starting from the south where we meet the spire of Pedra Longa, Capo Montesanto, Portu Quau, Cala Biriala, Cala Goloritzè, celebrated especially in virtue of the turquoise color of its waters, due to the gushing of some underwater springs, Cala Mariolu, Cala Sisine, Cala Luna, considered one of the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean, is bordered behind by a natural pond of fresh water, residue of the winter river , which feeds a beautiful forest of oleanders; the Grotta del Fico, Cala Fuili and Cala Gonone.

The landscape is already marvelous in itself, further enriched by the presence of various species of seabirds, among these nest a large quantity of seagulls, the peregrine falcon, the royal eagles and Bonelli, the falcon of the queen and some specimens of griffon vulture.
